Culture and experiences
The former priory church of Notre-Dame is now the parish church of Longeville-sur-Mer. It was first mentioned in 1195 and was then dependent on the Sainte-Croix de Talmont Abbey.
The Menhir du Russelet is made of sandstone, is 3.80 metres high, 2.80 metres wide and 1.30 metres thick, and weighs around 26 tonnes.
At the Maison du Marais, visitors can independently explore a three-kilometre route through the characteristic natural environment of the Marais Poitevin by barque or canoe; the route is equipped with information boards and takes an average of 1 to 1.25 hours.
The Pont de la Pépière is more than 200 years old and can be passed underneath during a barque or canoe trip departing from the Maison du Marais landing stage.
