Culture and History
The Église Saint-Martin in Juigné-sur-Sarthe was built in the 12th century. The Chapelle Notre-Dame-du-Nid was built in 1936 by the sculptor Raymond Dubois, who was originally from Juigné. Its name comes from the fact that Raymond Dubois transformed a darker knot in a boxwood piece dating from Roman times into a nest.

River and Trails
The river stop at the Port de Juigné has a slipway and a pontoon with water and electricity connections for mooring recreational and leisure boats. The landscaped area offers panoramic views of the river, picnic areas and play equipment for children.

On the return journey, the Tour des Galibots circular trail follows the towpath and offers views of the Abbaye de Solesmes, located in the vicinity of Juigné-sur-Sarthe. The route follows the paths once taken by young mining apprentices on their way to the mining sites.
