The Musée des Moulages de l'Hôpital Saint-Louis was founded in 1885 and houses 4,807 wax casts made in the 19th century for teaching dermatology. It is considered unique worldwide and is the only museum dedicated to a medical specialty that possesses such an extensive wax collection. Visits are possible by appointment only and on the occasion of the European Heritage Days.
