The church in Wanchy-Capval is built of stone and flint and features architectural elements from the 11th, 16th and 17th centuries. The nave of the church was rebuilt in the 16th and 17th centuries after it had been damaged by the Calvinists in 1568 and also by a lightning strike. The choir preserves woodwork in the Beaubec style as well as an eagle serving as a lectern.

In the parish church of Saint-Mellen in Capval, the southern side altar features the sculptural group “Saint Mellen? Saint évêque, un donateur”. The tabernacle and the stepped structure of the high altar are also located in the choir.
On 17 March 1980, an object was listed as protected movable cultural heritage.
