Culture and History
The Chapelle Saint-Dominique has three stained-glass windows donated by Georges Braque. Visitors can also view a painting by Maurice Denis from 1916 there. A small, barely visible path leads to the chapel from the road at the entrance to Varengeville-sur-Mer coming from the direction of Hautot-sur-Mer.
Le Bois des Moutiers welcomes visitors by prior reservation only. Around 1530, the famous shipowner from Dieppe, Jehan Ango, planned the construction of the Manoir d’Ango on his estates in Varengeville-sur-Mer.
The Musée Michel Ciry presents Michel Ciry’s often large-format paintings in a contemporary exhibition space that opens onto the garden. The museum also hosts several temporary exhibitions by invited artists.
Nature and Trails
The Jardin Shamrock is home to the French national hydrangea collection (CCVS). The garden can be visited independently at any time; the visit takes 60 minutes.
The Les Trois Gorges de l’Ailly circular trail leads from the church and sea cemetery towards the sea through valleys, forests and plains. It was created to explore the landscapes of Varengeville-sur-Mer.
Cycling Route
The Véloroute du Lin crosses the hinterland of the Pays de Caux from Pourville to Fécamp.
