Maniquerville: Holiday apartments and houses
The history of Maniquerville dates back to 57 BC: the village was established at the intersection of Roman military roads under the name “Menettïï-villa”.
Anyone wishing to stay in Maniquerville can rent a holiday apartment.
Picnic tables are available for everyone. For young visitors, the City Stade is located on Rue Henri Desprez, in the clearing of the church forest. Handball, volleyball, basketball, football and tennis can be played there; behind the City Stade, there is also a pump track for mountain bikes.
Culture and history
Several construction phases can be identified at the Church of Saint Martin. Its gable dates from the 11th century, the nave was extended in the 16th century, and the choir dates from the 18th century.
Behind the cemetery, a feudal motte belonging to the former medieval Château des Thiboutot has been preserved. The museum “L’Agriculture au Fil du Temps”, housed in a genuine farm, offers another insight into the past and presents more than 1,200 tools and machines. The collection includes exhibits relating to apples, flax, livestock farming, sugar beet, rapeseed, wheat, forests and forestry, as well as horses.
Food and drink
