Nature and Landscape

The Les Bruyères circular route is an easy 5.4-kilometre hike. It begins and ends at the car park of the Salle des fêtes in Cuy-Saint-Fiacre and leads through forests and wet meadows. Along the route lies a species-rich, acid-loving ecological zone where heather grows.

Culture and History

Near the church stands the war memorial for the 1914–1918 war. It was created by the sculptor François Pompon and inaugurated on 25 September 1921. The memorial is listed as a historic monument and protected by a decree dated 29 July 2022.

The Marguerite de Saint-Marceaux Promenade was inaugurated during the 40th Heritage Days. The Saint-Marceaux tomb is located in the central cemetery of the municipality. François Pompon completed the engraving there in 1915. The Croix hosannière is an anonymous work of art from the 16th century.
