Les Champeaux: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

The Ferme du Ronceray has been classified as a historic monument since 30 November 1989. In Les Champeaux, it is also designated as the birthplace of Charlotte Corday. Charlotte Corday spent her youth up to the age of thirteen at the Ferme du Ronceray; a commemorative plaque was installed at her birthplace in 1911 in her memory.

The Église Saint-Pierre is partly medieval and also features a construction phase dating from the 18th century. Its western bay was added in 1751. The painting “La confrérie des pères du Saint Sacrement à la procession aux Champeaux” from 1778 is also classified as a protected heritage object.

Anyone choosing Les Champeaux as a holiday destination will want to rent a holiday apartment there.

The former estate of the Ferme du Ronceray comprised 5 ha of pastureland and meadows with fruit trees. The plots were enclosed by living hedges.
