The Havre de Surville encompasses a large dune massif with grassland, wet depressions, woodland and coniferous trees. Influenced by the tides, the landscape changes daily.
During a 2.5-kilometre crossing of the Havre de Surville, visitors can observe the fauna and flora barefoot and in shorts, while learning more about the formation and history of the estuary.
La Valette is a bathing spot in Saint-Rémy-des-Landes. It is one of the better-known and more frequently used access points to the beach on the Natura 2000 coast.
Les Mielles d'Allonnes is designated as a walking and discovery trail in Saint-Rémy-des-Landes. There is also a car park and information boards at the Havre de Surville.

Culture and history
The Château de Taillefer is a large building from the second third of the 18th century in Saint-Rémy-des-Landes. Its covering lime render is mixed with river pebbles.
On the front façade of the Château de Taillefer, the corner blocks are made of hewn ashlar. The corner areas of the rear façade consist of simple rubble masonry and were subsequently reworked with white joint detailing.
The Église Saint-Rémy stands in Saint-Rémy-des-Landes. The parish banner depicts Saint Remigius; on its reverse is Saint Christopher carrying the Christ Child.
The Église Saint-Rémy features a depiction of the Curé of Ars, signed by Thomas Ducour from Bayeux and dated 1931.
Pierre à l'Homme is a 2.20-metre-high menhir in Saint-Rémy-des-Landes.
