Nature
The Chemin des 3 Clochers begins in the village square of Flancourt-Catelon. The route is 11 km long and takes about three hours on foot. Approximately 80.5% of the route follows unpaved paths.
At one point, the Chemin des 3 Clochers passes through the Forêt domaniale de Montfort national forest. This section is characterised by tall trees.
Those who choose Flancourt-Catelon as a travel destination may want to rent a holiday apartment.
Culture
The Chemin des 3 Clochers features an octagonal half-timbered dovecote from the 18th century as a sight; it is privately owned. The Landry manor house, with a medieval round tower made of dressed stone, is also located along the route.
The Church of Saint Lubin in Catelon has Romanesque origins and dates from the 11th century. The nave and choir of the Church of Saint-Lubin were extensively remodelled in the 18th century.
History
The church and cemetery of Catelon have been protected as a classified site since 5 January 1925.
The Church of Saint Ouen in Flancourt-Catelon dates from the 16th to the 18th century. Near its bell tower, it has a distinctive dormer window. An old cemetery surrounded by an earthen rampart wall is located beside the church.
