A striking insight into Livarot’s history can be found in the Church of Saint-Ouen. It was founded around 1070 by William the Conqueror, rebuilt in the 15th century and extensively remodelled in the 19th century. Its features include an organ built in 1892; it has been classified as an object since 1990. The church is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for free self-guided visits.
