Culture
The Église Saint-Vincent is a Romanesque church dating from the 12th century and dedicated to Saint Vincent. Its architectural features include a semi-domed apse and a crenellated bell gable with a watchtower added to it. The church is open daily.
At an altitude of 2,115 m on the Col du Tourmalet, the Maison du Tourmalet houses an exhibition room beneath a 360-degree dome. The exhibition “Le Col des Géants” tells the story of the Col du Tourmalet and its use by the Tour de France. The animated film “NOX, LE VOYAGE DANS LA NUIT” raises awareness of light pollution there.
La Croix de Saint-Justin is an oratory honouring Justin, the first evangelist of Bigorre, and is located on the site of a former priory and chapel that fell into disrepair in the 12th century. The oratory and the Saint-Justin cross were reconstructed in 1990, are situated at an altitude of 1,300 m, and offer views of the villages of Barèges, Viella, Betpouey and Luz Saint Sauveur. La Croix de Saint-Justin is free of charge and freely accessible; visits are possible at any time without a guide.

The “Le belvédère de la croix Saint-Justin” route passes through Barèges and Sers. At the small Col de Saint-Justin, it leads to an information board and the Saint-Justin oratory. This easy 4.9 km circular hike takes 2 hours and 15 minutes and is marked GR and PR.
The “Les villages de Labatsus” route is a moderately difficult 9 km circular hike with a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes and is marked GR and PR. It crosses the Bastan via a footbridge and passes by the Église de Sers on its way into the centre of Sers.

The “Le pic du Midi de Bigorre” route passes through Sers and Bagnères-de-Bigorre to the Pic du Midi de Bigorre at an altitude of 2,877 m.
