Adé lies in the wooded hills; numerous signposted walking trails offer views of Lourdes, the Pyrenees and the Tarbes plain.

Nature
The Rieutord flows through Adé from south to north. Upstream, it comes from neighbouring Julos; downstream, it leaves the village towards Lanne. Historically, the river powered three mills in Adé and supplied communal or private washhouses.
Above the village, the Chênes de la Buse have stood for more than 300 years. Of the twelve original trees, five remain. Several signposted hiking trails run through the hills around Adé. Loops such as the Bois du Mouret and the circular route “tour de la Landes, les Granges” start directly in the village and are suitable for walks of moderate difficulty.
History
Adé’s historic dairy farming lives on in the Occitan nickname “Eths leytassèrs”. The name refers to the many residents who produced milk and sold it in Lourdes.
Culture
The Église d’Adé was designed by Léopold Hardy, who also designed the Basilique Supérieure de Lourdes. The Église d’Adé was built between 1866 and 1878 on the former feudal motte.
The Chapelle du Rosaire houses a gilded and painted 18th-century Madonna and Child, visible through the closed grille. The chapel was rebuilt in 1887 on the site of earlier chapels; according to Michel de la Torre, the year 1787 is also given for this. On the porch of the Église d’Adé, a sculpted tympanum depicts the martyrdom of Saint Hippolytus.
Routes
The Chemin Vert, inaugurated in 2010, connects Tarbes with Lourdes and passes through Juillan, Lanne, Louey and Adé. In accordance with the signposting of the Fédération Française de Randonnée Pédestre, it is marked and equipped with information, directional and thematic panels.
National Road N21 passes through Adé and intersects the D3 there. Adé is also located near Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées Airport.
