The Croix de Mission is made of wrought iron and grey stone from Gourdan and is six metres high. It honours the Virgin Mary, the patron saint of the parish.

The white-clawed crayfish occurs in the area of the “Croix de Mission” route; it is protected in Europe and France. The common wall lizard also occurs there and is protected in France.
