During excavations in a village well in Grand, 188 ivory fragments were recovered in 1967 and 1968 at a depth of almost eight metres. They proved to be two richly decorated diptychs.
Excavations in the archaeological garden of the amphitheatre's baths uncovered a gallery six metres wide and more than 40 metres long.
