The Château de la Varenne in Haironville dates mainly from the mid-16th century; construction campaigns from 1506, 1516 and 1574 are documented. The château is partly classified as a historic monument and partly listed as a historic monument. The classified elements are the façades and roofs, the courtyard of honour with balustrade, as well as the vestibule and the interior staircase with wrought-iron railing, while the park is listed.
The Pont traversant la Saulx in Haironville dates from the 17th century and has been listed as a historic monument since 1 December 1950. The Maison dite des Bourlons is also partly protected as a historic monument; the façades and roofs of the main building were listed on 9 June 1947.
The Château de la Tour in Haironville is considered a probable fortified house dating from before 1500 and was later converted into a farm.
Landscape
The Parc du château de la Varenne is fully listed as a historic monument. The Parc de la Varenne has been awarded the state designation “Jardin remarquable”. Its landscape was designed according to 19th-century principles and includes a meadow surrounded by groups of trees and more or less dense woodland. Notable trees include copper beech trees, plane trees and Virginia tulip trees.
Cycling
The Boucle des Châteaux mountain biking route passes through Haironville via the Chemin du Tacot.
