East of the municipality of Meyrignac-l'Église lies Étang de Meyrignac, covering an area of 17 hectares. The pond and its surroundings are designated as a protected area in Meyrignac-l'Église; this designation was made by ministerial decree dated 7 February 1944.
Nature
At Étang, the “Promenons-nous sur le sentier de l'étang” trail crosses a wooden footbridge through the pond’s wetland outskirts, where animal and plant species can be observed. The easy circular hiking trail is 3.1 kilometres long and takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Four themed panels provide information about history, natural habitats, fauna and flora. The car park for the pond trail is located to the left of the dam on the D32E towards Meyrignac.

History
The Maison dite Henri IV house has a main façade dating from the late 16th century, window elements from the 17th century and an upstairs fireplace bearing the year 1606. By decree dated 7 March 1995, it was listed as a protected monument historique.
In the 12th century, Meyrignac-l'Église belonged to a commandery of the Order of Malta. The Sainte-Anne church was rebuilt in 1894 after the former church was destroyed during the Revolution. Its furnishings include a carved wooden tabernacle from the 17th and 18th centuries, whose execution is attributed to the Duhamel brothers from Tulle, as well as a Limousin portal beneath a porch with carved capitals.
Culture
Meyrignac-l'Église is also home to La Savonnerie des Monédières, a craft workshop where organic soaps are made.
