The 45-kilometre “en tous points sublimes” route also leads to Saint-Rome-de-Dolan. One kilometre farther on, the road heads towards Point Sublime at the first hairpin bend of the Côte des Vignes on the D 46.
Culture and History
The bell tower of Saint-Romain parish church dates from the 19th century, while the entrance door is dated 1877. The parish church itself was mentioned in the 13th century as the Rosier priory and was probably completely rebuilt in the 16th or 17th century.
The Château de Dolan was mentioned in the 11th century as a fief of the de Sévérac family in Rouergue. The surroundings of the Château de Dolan are not secured, so visiting the site is prohibited.
