Boisseron: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

One of the notable historical features is La Pouzarenque. The shaft well with a water wheel, also known as a noria or bucket chain, draws water from a well.

The war memorial in Boisseron was created by the Montpellier-born sculptor Joseph Coste. It was erected in 1922–1923 at the intersection of what are now Avenue F. Mistral and Folco de Baroncelli.

The Church of St. Laurent de Boisseron is a single-nave church with a Latin-cross floor plan, built in the Neo-Romanesque style, and consisting of three bays.

The Vieille Porte is a well-preserved fortified gate with an upper hall. The distinctive bossage decoration on the arch voussoirs is particularly striking.

A signposted circular trail with 13 explanatory panels leads to historical and cultural heritage sites in the village centre and on its outskirts.

The site of Boisseron’s former railway station is now occupied by the Louis Armand sports and leisure area.

Nature

The Château de Boisseron includes a 5-hectare English-style landscape park with rare and diverse species.

A bathing area has been designated at the Ancien Moulin on the Vidourle.

Activities

The Carrière de Boisseron has a climbing wall with 25 routes. The routes range from 5 to 10 m in height and have difficulty ratings from 4a to 6b.

A via ferrata is also located at the Carrière de Boisseron. It is an easy course approximately 200 m long, reaching a maximum height of 8 m.
