Nature and Trails
The Sentier des Capitelles de Blauzac is a 5-kilometre circular route that begins at the Place de la Mairie car park. It leads along paths through the garrigue to numerous capitelles, dry-stone huts dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. This capitelle heritage is connected with the cultivation of vines, cereals and olive trees, as well as pastoral farming.
The Autour du vallon des Pontils hike leads through high garrigue with downy oaks on the Côte de Malaigue, where old capitelles are hidden.
Village Trails
Since spring 2024, the municipality of Blauzac has offered a first easy 1.5-kilometre circular walk through the historic centre. A second easy village walk is 1.6 kilometres long and leads to two windmills and an information board in an open olive grove.
Baludik: Découvrir Blauzac invites visitors to solve riddles in the village. The route is 1.3 kilometres long and takes 1 hour and 15 minutes. It includes a story in which Isabeau d’Arbaud attempts to escape from the village with her ten children.
Agriculture and Enjoyment
The Domaine de Malaïgue is the starting point for a hiking trail between vineyards and garrigue. In a 12th-century building, visitors can sample wine, flour and olive oil. The estate has been producing its products using organic farming methods since 1998.
