In the center of Cruscades stands the Church of Saint John the Evangelist, a historic building. Construction work on the church took place from the 11th to the 14th century. Its design combines Romanesque and Gothic elements.

Cruscades is part of the Vallée de l'Orbieu Natura 2000 site. The easy “En suivant Orbieu” walking route follows the Orbieu River in the shade of plane trees and starts and ends in Cruscades.

The Château Étang des Colombes winery is located amid the vineyards of the Corbières. Château Étang des Colombes offers a wine tasting open to all lovers of the Corbières. Tours of the tasting room and barrel cellar are also available, along with discussions about the region's winemaking heritage.

At the end of July, La Cruscadelle takes place, a festival promoting local products. La Cruscadine's oils are made from the local Bouteillan and Olivière varieties. La Cruscadine is an exceptional olive oil produced under the sun of Cruscades in the heart of the Aude.
