Culture
Buc is a hamlet and district of the municipality of Belcastel-et-Buc. The parish church is dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. At the entrance to the choir of the church in Buc there is a processional lantern. It dates from the 18th century and is a hexagonal, painted sheet-metal object topped with a cross and decorated with six-pointed stars in circles. The lantern has been classified as a protected object since 6 June 1967.

Part of Belcastel-et-Buc lies within the « hautes Corbières » special protection area under the Natura 2000 network (FR9112028).
