Champagne Cordeuil Père & Fille is a third-generation family business. Half of its vineyard area was certified organic in 2015, and the other half in 2019. The house produces various champagnes from blends of different vintages and grape varieties. Cellar tours and tastings are offered by prior appointment; the champagnes tasted have been aged for between 6 and 15 years.
Champagne Veuve Doussot traces its winemaking tradition in Noë-les-Mallets back to 1746. With prior reservation, Veuve Doussot offers guided tours and organizes grape-harvesting days.
Trails
The “Tour de Noë-les-Mallets” circular trail takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes and is marked in white and yellow.
The “Chemin Geoffroy Sifferlen” runs between Essoyes and Noë-les-Mallets, is marked in orange, and features information boards about the local flora and fauna. The trail is an 18-km circuit with sections for 8- and 13-km routes. It can be used on foot, on horseback, by carriage, or by mountain bike.
The “Balade pour Jo” event was planned to start in Noë-les-Mallets annually on the last Sunday in June at 9:30 a.m.
Landscape
The picnic area on the Plateau de Blu is located above Essoyes, within the territories of the municipalities of Noë-les-Mallets and Fontette. It has several tables and benches, a cadole, and an orientation table.
The Plateau de Blu offers a panorama of vineyards and woodland. In clear weather, the Lorraine Cross in Colombey-les-Deux-Églises can be seen from there.
