The walking trails around Fertrève lead through a landscape where the Forêt de Vincence can be discovered. It is bordered by meadows and hedgerows. The Tramboulin, a stream, runs through this landscape crossed by the walking trails. The paths also offer the opportunity to observe waterfowl.

The LaRouche au Porc hiking trail is 7.2 kilometres long, takes around two hours, starts in the village square and is marked in yellow. Along the route, small signs beside a pond help walkers identify the local fauna.

A ford crossing was created to make access to the forest path easier. Two information boards were installed beside the Tramboulin to inform visitors about local natural, historical and landscape features.

Culture and history

Fertrève was originally a simple chapel and was elevated to parish status in 1130. The tombstone of Jehan du Chailloux is classified as a historic monument. The old washhouse has also been preserved.

The MEUH (Monument of Unique and Happy Events) is a monument in Fertrève. Fertrève church hosted the traditional annual parish mass in 2025.
