Culture

The Saint-Pierre Priory, first Benedictine and later belonging to the Order of Minims, was founded in the last quarter of the 10th century on the site of a former Carolingian estate.

The former priory chapel of Saint-Pierre has served as a parish church since at least the 19th century. The priory church houses a statue of Saint Peter attributed to the 15th century, which was placed under protection as movable cultural heritage on 21 September 1972.

History

The medieval bridge at Masselèbre may date from the 14th century; its railing was restored in the 20th century.
