Zbudov: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Zbudov gave its name to the historic Zbudovská Blata landscape. In the village, the historic center is designated as a village conservation zone.
Village Center and History
The protected heritage includes 19th-century Blata-style farmsteads with house numbers 1, 3, 4, 23, 25, 26, and 27. House number 1 is the Kubata Farm. In the middle of the village square also stands the former forge, house number 28.
The traditional Kubata celebration begins in Zbudov's village square with a church service and continues at the monument to Jakub Kubata. The monument stands about one kilometer southeast of Zbudov on the Soudný potok; a marked cycle path leads there. Two stones on the Soudný potok are also associated with the legend of Jakub Kubata's execution.
Landscape and Water
The Zbudovská Blata consist of meadows in the floodplain of the Bezdrevský potok, also known as the Soudný potok. They stretch between Zbudov, Zliv, Plástovice, Pištín, and Sedlec and are a well-known ornithological site. Zbudov lies on the shore of Zbudovský rybník.
Routes through Zbudov
The „Za selským barokem“ loop is approximately 25 kilometers long and runs mostly along existing marked cycle paths. Zbudov is the sixth stop on this route and is designated there as a village conservation reserve zone.
The „Kolem Pištína na Blata“ cycle route passes through Zbudov. It is described as easy and is primarily intended for families with children and seniors. One route passes through Zbudov's village conservation zone.
