Lipence: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Lipence is located mostly in the floodplain on the right bank of the Berounka. Between the river landscape, streams and special recreational destinations, a vivid picture of this Prague district emerges.

Nature

The Lipenecký stream rises in the southern part of Lipence. Its entire course lies in the Prague 5 municipal district, in the Lipence cadastral area; its upper course runs through a wooded area in a natural stream bed. In the northwest and west, the Berounka forms the boundary between Lipence and Radotín and Černošice. There is also an artificially created pond on the Lipenecký stream in Lipence's holiday-home area.

Lake Lipence offers the general public a recreational area with a nature park, lake and beach. For the 2026 bathing season, Lake Lipence is listed as a new natural bathing site. The operator regularly monitors the water quality and publishes test results as well as practical information about swimming.

Culture and History

Lipence was formed through the union of the historic settlements of Lipenec and Lipany. Lipany, part of present-day Lipence, was first mentioned in writing in 1115.

Experiences

The MK Lipence model-aircraft field is located in Prague near the confluence of the Berounka and Vltava rivers. It is accessible by car and within reach of public transport. The Lipenecký Obr 2026 programme features performances by radio-controlled fighter jets, extreme aerobatic pilots, helicopters, historic gliders and model aircraft.

The Lipenecký běh takes place once again on its usual route along the streets of Českého červeného kříže, Údolí hvězd and Obsiny. In the lower part of Lipence, the grounds of Lipenecký statek include a children's playground maintained by the municipal administration.

Activities

Prague City Golf Zbraslav has a driving range with 18 covered and 30 uncovered tees, practice areas, and the Prague City Golf Academy as a training centre for young people and adults. Prague City Golf Zbraslav is located at Oddechová 886, 155 00, Lipence, Prague 5.

Cycle Route 8100, known as Pražské kolo, runs via Zbraslav and Lipence towards Dolní Černošice.
