Bíluky: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Bíluky reveals its historic character particularly clearly around the spacious village green that forms the centre of the village. The village has been comparatively well preserved in terms of its layout and appearance; part of the original urban structure of agricultural farmsteads has also been preserved around the green.

Villagescape and History

A small stream flows through the spacious village green, rising in the fields above the village. The history of the settlement goes back a long way: Bíluky was first mentioned in writing in 1373.

A striking cultural landmark is the Chapel of Saint John the Baptist, built in 1874. It complements the traditional villagescape with a sacred building from the 19th century.

Cycle Route No. 2082 passes through Bíluky on its way to Petrovice. The regionally important Cycle Route No. 2082 runs along the route Zavlekov – Hnačov – Plánice – Újezd u Plánice – Petrovice – Bíluky – Měčín.

The Chlumec hill [Měčín - Radkovice] is located in the immediate vicinity of Bíluky. The Buzrakov mountain (Plánický hřeben) and Běleč mountain are also located in the surrounding area.
