Mýtinka: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Antonínova Výšina in the Mýtinka u Poustky area offers views of the Cheb region. The low hill rises above a shallow stream valley and forms a continuous wooded area along the stream. Mýtinka lies north of Road I/64, and the Stodolský Stream flows through the village.

Nature and Landscape

The local “Na Stodolském potoce” biocentre includes the cadastral areas of Zelený Háj and Mýtinka u Poustky. It extends across a flat, wooded valley with a strip of alders along the stream.

Hiking and Cycling

Near Mýtinka, a 16-kilometre excursion leads from Františkovy Lázně to the SOOS National Nature Reserve via Antonínova Výšina. The route follows a green-marked hiking trail.

National Cycle Route 23 (Krušné hory Magistral) runs along the Cheb–Luby section near Mýtinka (Rossenreuth) at kilometre 15. Immediately after crossing the busy Cheb–Aš road, the route passes Mýtinka Farm.

History and Events

Mýtinka (Rossenreuth) was formerly a small settlement with six farmsteads. Mýtinka was first mentioned in historical texts in 1395. In the surrounding area, Seeberg Castle hosts a traditional historical fair, a wine festival, and various concerts and events for children and adults every year.
