Nové Město: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Novako Jáchymov ski resort in Nové Město has a total of 4 km of slopes of all difficulty levels. The old pilgrimage route leads from Jáchymov via Nové Město to Mariánská and passes the Chapel of Our Lady of Altötting and the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows in Nové Město.

Winter and Trails

The old pilgrimage route offers views of Klínovec and Neklid between the houses and trees of Nové Město. The Jáchymov Hell educational trail is 8.5 km long and has 12 information stations. Along its route, it passes a system of ponds that were created for mining.

Culture

The Chapel of Our Lady of Altötting and the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows are late Baroque chapels built in the second half of the 18th century. The exterior areas of both chapels are accessible. The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows stands by House No. 4 on the road to Mariánská, in the centre of Nové Město. The Chapel of Our Lady of Altötting is located on a small hill above the road at the lower eastern edge of Nové Město.
