Cycling route and landscape
The local cycling route no. 2026 from Karlovy Vary to Chodov u Bečova passes through Dražov. In the direction of Karlovy Vary, the route is easy; in the opposite direction, it is moderately difficult.
Uhelný vrch, also known as Traben, is the highest point in the cadastral area of Dražov at 733 m above sea level. At the same time, the summit is one of the distinctive elevations of the Slavkovský les, which are shaped by bodies of basic rocks from the Tertiary period.
Culture
The Chapel of Saint Vitus in Dražov is a Late Baroque chapel. It was built between 1763 and 1766 on a terrace on the sloping village square in the centre of Dražov and has been protected as a cultural monument since 3 May 1958. The chapel is occasionally accessible.
Mills
Nesenský mlýn is a mill that has been preserved without major alterations and is located 500 m north of the settlement of Dolní Dražov on the Dražovský potok watercourse. Milorův mlýn, on the other hand, is an abandoned mill in the centre of the settlement.
History
The local church festival of Saint Vitus was celebrated on the third Sunday in June and developed into a folk festival with the character of a fair. Iron ore was mined and transported to the smelters in Pila.
