Hlubyně: Village Pond, Farmsteads and Paths

The “Jihočeská ochutnávka” cycle tour runs from Březnice along cycle route 8213 to Hlubyně, where it turns left onto cycle route 8214. From Hlubyně, it follows this cycle route through Bubovice and Hudčice to Drahenice. Check the current route markings before setting off. Other nearby destinations have their own historical character: Račany has a village conservation zone, while Drahenice has a village conservation reserve. The different designations clearly distinguish the two protected areas.

Hlubyně has marked cycle routes and marked hiking trails. One specific option on foot is a walk of about 4 km from the square in Březnice through Hlubyně to the Hlubyňská studánka spring. The two tours differ clearly in how they are defined: the walk has an approximate length and a named destination, while the cycle tour is identified by cycle route numbers and a sequence of places. This makes it easy to plan your outing depending on whether you would rather walk to a specific destination or choose a route with several stops.
