Turanj: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Culture
Above Turanj lies the archaeological site of Gradina. It provides evidence of settlement dating from the Late Bronze Age and the period of Liburnian rule; the hilltop settlement was enclosed by five layers of defensive walls built from dry stone masonry.
The restored tower in Turanj is a Venetian fortification element dating from the 14th to the 16th century. It is 10.50 metres high and features loopholes, firing openings, windows, and a crenellated terrace. The settlement of Turanj is protected as a complete historical and cultural entity.
In the wider regional area around Turanj are Asseria, Sv. Mihovil Fortress, Zadar Fortress, and the Old Town Centre.

Turanj has a local seaport intended for public use. Its operational section is 50 metres long, while the remaining area is designated for communal berths.
