Sukošan has more than 10 km of varied coastline with shallow bays and sandy and pebbly areas. These include beaches such as Zlatna luka, Dječji raj and Makarska.

Culture

Sukošan preserves the traditional carnival custom of “Babe luže”. During this tradition, men dress in old clothes, sheepskins and masks, wear bells and carry sacks filled with ash during the carnival season.
