Zaglav: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In 1451, Franciscans of the Third Order came to Zaglav in the Glagolitic tradition; the Glagolitic manuscript author Fra Šimun Klimantović also lived and worked here.

Culture

The Gothic Church of Saint Michael the Archangel was consecrated in 1458 and dates back to the 15th century. The Franciscan monastery in Zaglav also dates back to the 15th century.

Water

Hiking trail 10 from Zaglav to ÄŒelinjak is approximately 4.5 km long, has 198 m of ascent, and takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes on foot; it is classified as moderately difficult and leads to a summit with views of the entire surrounding area.

Basketball tournaments take place in Zaglav throughout the year.

Nature

Telašćica Nature Park is located in the southeast of Dugi Otok and, together with the surrounding waters and 13 islands, islets, and rocks, forms a natural landscape covering 70.5 km².

Telašćica Nature Park offers organized nature tours, cruises, water sports, diving, fishing, cycling, and photo observation. In Zaglav, organized daily excursions to Telašćica Nature Park and the Kornati Archipelago were offered with the support of local fishermen.

G&V Line Iadera offers a daily boat connection on the Zadar–Sali–Zaglav route.
