The Chapel of St. Martin is located in the hamlet of Prtenjača in Polača, a few hundred metres from the remains of prehistoric settlement walls and the foundations of an early Christian church on Bićina Hill.

The church was completed and consecrated in 1989. Its interior furnishings include the main altar, the tabernacle, the Višeslav baptismal font and the crucifix; these works were created by the local artist Ratko Peraić.

The old church of Polača was built in 1836 southeast of the town centre next to the local cemetery.
