Vrsi: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Vrsi has 34 kilometres of highly indented coastline with natural sandy, pebble and rocky beaches. The Punta Velebit peninsula is located in the western part of Mulo. It stretches through untouched nature and is covered by dense pine forest over a length of approximately three kilometres and a width of around 1.5 kilometres.

Coast and landscape

At high tide, the Prizda passage fills with seawater, turning Zečevo into a small island. At low tide, Zečevo is once again connected to the mainland and takes the form of a peninsula. Zukve combines sandy-pebble beach areas with urban-style concrete beach sections.

There is an outdoor gym on Mulo Beach. A sand beach volleyball court is also located there.

Paths and landscape

The Red Cliffs in Duboka draga consist of steep coastal cliffs made of red flysch sandstone. On the Red Cliffs Trail, the village of Vrsi lies on the eastern side of the path. Kukinica can only be reached on foot or by sea.

Culture and maritime tradition

In Vrsi, the Crkva Gospe od Zečeva is registered as protected cultural property under code Z-1210. Below a section of beach lies the early Christian Crkva sv. Jakova, dating from the 11th or 12th century. The fifth Dani pomorstva, dedicated to Vrsi's maritime tradition, took place from 22 to 25 June.

Freshly caught fish from local catches can often be purchased along the local waterfront promenade.
