Marinje Zemlje is a wooded area with olive groves and orchards. At the same time, the place comprises a cluster of eight hamlets hidden in the hills. Marinje Zemlje is reached by turning south off the old road to Komiža shortly after Plisko Polje.

Hiking and Trails
The Vis–Vino Polje–Plisko Polje–Stiniva hiking route follows the trail to the Marina Zemlja signpost. On the Stiniva route, the trail continues for approximately 1.5 kilometres on asphalt to an improvised car park in Žužec. From this car park, the Stiniva route descends steeply to Stiniva Bay.
The Vis–Vino Polje–Plisko Polje–Ruda route points to Marine Zemlje at a junction with the asphalt road. This signpost is located approximately 80 metres after the beginning of the road.
Access
Access to Stiniva Bay from land is via a footpath and not by vehicle. Access from the sea is narrow between two high, steep rocks.
