Krvavica: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Above the settlement lies the Manastirine archaeological site, which yielded a stećak depicting three women and a man with a sword. The archaeological sites of Krvavica also include Gradina, Lazine and Zakuće.

Culture

The Ruralna cjelina Krvavica is one of the protected immovable cultural assets designated for the municipality of Baška Voda. Its traditional buildings feature exposed stone walls, gabled roofs predominantly covered with stone slabs, single- or two-storey structures and vaulted doors leading to the konobas.

The Krvavica lječilište was built for the treatment and rehabilitation of children of military-insured persons. It is considered a unique example of modern medical spa architecture and a canonical work of modern Croatian architecture.

A restoration workshop was scheduled to take place in the former sanatorium in Krvavica on 17 August 2024.

Landscape

The high Ključ kuk rock above Krvavica is regarded locally as a natural monument and as a visual symbol of the settlement; it is also known by the name Babin zub.

Sveti Ilija is located nearby. The surrounding area of Krvavica includes Babnjača, Gradska Spila, Manastirina, Sveti Ante and also Sveti Ilija. The wider regional area includes Sveti Stipan and Sveti Mihovil.

Local life

Marina Ramova has 255 berths: 60 on land and 195 on the water. Electricity and water connections are available for watercraft up to 16 metres in length.

At Marina Ramova-Krvavica, Vjetro-Solana produces sea salt in twelve basins built on the marina’s breakwater.
