The Ribnjaci OSTRIŽ fishponds offer opportunities for freshwater fishing, particularly for carp and according to the “catch and release” principle. There is also a landscaped promenade for walking.

Activities

The 18th Kneginečka biciklijada was an 18-kilometer recreational cycling tour. It started at Trg dr. Franje Tuđmana in Turčin and ended at the fishponds of the “Ostriž Kneginec” sport fishing club. The Kneginečka biciklijada is traditionally organized by the sports association and the Municipality of Gornji Kneginec; refreshments and a rest stop in Krč-Dugi vrh forest were provided for recreational cyclists.

The Glinište off-road site of the Kneginec Off-Road Club, associated with Turčin, enables quad off-road rides on the grounds and forest roads. The entire route on the site is open for free riding and offers both a soft and a hard route.
