Culture
In Beretinec, Pil Pieta is registered as a cultural asset under the designation Z-3942. The Šaulovec Castle complex has been protected as a monument of park architecture since 1970. Šaulovec Castle was converted from an earlier manor house into a castle in 1791. Some of the preserved furnishings, together with the castle, depict the life of the lesser nobility in the Varaždin area at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Hiking
The Vagon hikers’ lodge is located on the ridge of Grabrovice Hill near the villages of Črešnjevo and Ledinec. It is a decommissioned freight wagon that was converted for hiking purposes. In front of the hikers’ lodge, there is a covered area with benches for resting.
The Ledinec hikers’ lodge is situated on the summit of a hill in the village of Ledinec. From there, it offers an unobstructed view of Ivanščica.

The Vinarija Blaguški wine shop accepts individual and group visits by prior arrangement and is open on weekdays and weekends. It offers wine tastings accompanied by cold cuts from local family farms.
Cycling
The XC Beretinec mountain bike trail is 4.7 kilometres long. It was developed jointly by the members of Brdsko-biciklistički klub ASI Varaždin and the Municipality of Beretinec. The XC trail in Beretinec is used for mountain bike training and the development of young riders.
