In Skrad, a marked trail leads to Skradski vrh. On its summit clearing stand the Chapel of the Assumption of Mary and benches. The route includes the Perić viewpoint and the Šiljar educational trail, which begins at Skrad railway station and continues via Kavranove stijene to the summit.

Nature

Zeleni vir and Skradski Vrh are located near Skrad. Rudač and Vršič are situated in the surrounding area of Skrad. Zeleni vir is described as a powerful spring below a rock face approximately 70 metres high. There is rich vegetation there; protected greater horseshoe bats overwinter in the Muževa hiša cave, which is also home to an ornithological observation post.

Culture

The Lončarić House in Skrad is described as a monument to Baroque civic architecture. Construction is presumed to have begun around 1820, with completion dated to 1841. The house is protected by the Conservation Institute in Rijeka.

The 2026 Malina Festival in Skrad included a guided hike to Skradski vrh and a local products fair. Raspberries and other berries, honey, juice, liqueurs, cheese, paper crafts, natural cosmetics and fruit-based desserts were offered.
