Crikvenica: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The Crikvenica Town Museum comprises nine collections, predominantly cultural and historical; one collection focuses on palaeontology.
Culture
At the archaeological site of Ad Turres in Crikvenica, remains of unique flat-bottomed amphorae of the Crikvenica type have been preserved. The bronze statue The Fisher by Zvonko Car is dedicated to Crikvenica's local fishing tradition.
In the nearby area, Kotor is protected as a cultural asset. Two large downy oaks in Guljanov dolac are designated as natural monuments.
Trails
The Ljubavna cestica is 8,000 metres long. The hiking trails of Kotor begin about a half-hour walk from the centre of Crikvenica and offer views towards the Vinodol Channel and the island of Krk.
Cycling Route 300 starts and ends in Crikvenica. It is a 52-kilometre road route. The Roman Trail starts in Crikvenica at the town sports hall and is 15 kilometres long.
The Crikvenica Aquarium is located in the town centre. It comprises 30 tanks modelled on the natural habitats of marine animals and displays more than 100 fish species from the Adriatic.
Coast
The town's main beach is fully adapted for people with disabilities. In July 2010, Crikvenica's first dog beach was located next to the small harbour of Podvorska, at the end of the breakwater.
