Kuća Delač in nearby Delači is traditionally dated to 1644 and described as the oldest surviving house in Gorski kotar. The Vilko Golubić Memorial Classroom in the centre displays objects relating to school history, including books, exercise books, writing slates, pens, schoolbags, rulers, maps and a globe. Just before the centre of Brod Moravice, the Kolarnica collection documents traditional local crafts, as well as the work, tools and lives of a barber, a woodworker, a tailor and a shoemaker.

Local Traditions

The Moravičko voćarstvo collection in the centre of Brod Moravice interprets local traditions of fruit growing and rakija production, including pear and juniper rakija. On display are old barrels, baskets, fruit presses and a distillation still. Also in the centre, the Plavi podrum collection reconstructs the atmosphere of a local tavern from the 1950s and 1960s with period furnishings, drinks, newspapers and records.
