Buići’s culinary connections include Kadum: the olive groves are managed using natural methods and ecological farming practices. The olives are processed within hours at a certified mill for ecological production. Several varieties are used to produce extra virgin olive oil, including Buža, Istarska bjelica, Leccino, Pendolino and Frantoio. Kadum also produces two blended extra virgin olive oils called Blago and Intenzivno.

The Kadum winery is located at Buići 8 in Poreč. At Istarska Konoba Buići, dishes are prepared with olive oil from the on-site mill; this oil is also offered there for tasting and purchase.
With advance notice, Istarska Konoba Buići can prepare dishes under a čripnja or over an open fire in front of guests.
Local connections
Buići is home to Boćarski klub Kum-Buići, a boccia club at Buići 18, Poreč. Buići is one of the settlements associated with Žbandaj. In 1595, the three-nave parish church of the Holy Martyrs John and Paul was built there; it contains rustic works of art and a holy water font dated 1688.
The surroundings of Buići are home to Dvigrad Castle, Otočić Sveti Nikola, the Euphrasian Basilica, Otočić Fržital, Otočić Veliki Školj, Otočić Reverol and Sveta Ana. The Euphrasian Basilica of Poreč is a 6th-century cultural monument that was recognised by UNESCO in 1997.
