Mareda: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Mareda’s coastline, with pebble, rocky and concrete shores extending for around 500 metres, is considered family-friendly. North of the developed area of the Aminess Maravea Camping Resort, the coast is considered quieter and more natural, suitable for morning swims and relaxing time by the sea.

Coast

The beach at Aminess Planet Camping Maravea Pitches is pebbly and rocky. At the beach, a paved sun terrace surrounds the infinity pool, with sun loungers, parasols and a bar.

Active pursuits

Official cycle route 8, “Novigrad – From the Sea to the Vineyards and Olive Groves”, runs through Mareda. After Mareda, the route continues along unpaved paths near vineyards and olive groves. The cycle route is 19 kilometres long, rated easy and has an estimated duration of 1 hour 30 minutes.

The Staza sv. Pelagija trail passes an ornithological reserve and follows the Mirna River near Antenal. Mareda can be reached on foot or by running along the Karpinjan promenade.

Local character

The former Mareda campsite opened in 1971 and is now the Aminess Planet Camping Maravea Resort in Novigrad. The resort includes a pool complex with a playground and slides. The La Gradela restaurant serves Istrian cuisine, steaks, dry-aged meat and burgers.

Culture

Rt. is located near Mareda. The Maritime Museum is situated in the wider surrounding region. The area around Mareda includes Sveta Ana, Otočić Sveti Nikola, Sveti Nikola, the Euphrasian Basilica, Kazalac and Badnjak.
