Telašćica: Land, Islets and Sea
Telašćica Nature Park covers the southern part of Dugi Otok, its associated islets and part of the sea area of Zadar County. The park covers a total of 70.50 km². Of this, 25.95 km² consists of Dugi Otok and the neighboring islets, while 44.55 km² is sea. The designated marine area is therefore larger than the land area. This breakdown makes clear that the park’s total size includes both land and sea.
In the nature park, you can walk to interesting places and enjoy the view from the Grpašćak viewpoint. The range of activities includes organized nature tours, boat trips, water sports, diving, fishing, cycling and photo safaris. Veli Rat, Veruni, Soline and Božava are near the beach; pine trees provide shade there in summer.
