The Recreational Trail C connects Pomena and Polače via a 5-kilometre marked route with no major climbs.
The Cycling Trail F in Pomena is a 17.7-kilometre marked mountain bike route; it is considered very challenging and includes major climbs.
The Hiking Trail E in Pomena is a 13.5-kilometre marked route classified as moderately challenging and featuring climbs. It also includes a climb to the Montokuc viewpoint as well as visits to Soline and Goveđari.
Cuisine and Events
Mljet’s culinary tradition includes fish, shellfish, other seafood and eel dishes such as brodet.
The annual eno-gastronomic event „Toast from the host“ takes place in Pomena at the end of August. It includes local specialities and a wine tasting.
