The Vratar archaeological site in Borovci was declared a protected cultural asset by the Croatian authorities responsible for cultural heritage in 2012. Vratar is located on Gradina, between the hamlets of Vratar and Rastočići in Borovci, at approximately 97 metres above sea level.

The Church of St Nicholas in Borovci is recorded as dating from 1672. It incorporates the remains of an earlier Romanesque church, which may date back to the 13th century, and was extended in 1858.

The Zanoga site in Borovci is part of the protected Staza stećaka site. There, 44 undecorated stećci are grouped around a tumulus. A further 45 stećci are catalogued in Zanoga; they are simply made and have neither ornamentation nor inscriptions.

Hiking

From the road at the entrance to Borovci in the hamlet of Rastočići, visitors can reach the ruins of Vratar via an approximately 30-minute uphill walk along a rough goat track.

The Zanoga cemetery is located near a stream and along the route leading to Vratar Fortress and onwards into the Neretva Valley.

Golovrh, Pozla Gora and Sirač are located near Borovci. Vodopad Kravica, Mogorjelo and Sveti Petar are located in the surrounding area of Borovci. Sveti Liberan and Žitomislić Monastery are located in the wider region around Borovci.
