The locality has a public bathing area. There, the city repaired railings, handrails, steps, and walls. In addition, beach material was replenished and concrete work was carried out to serve the needs of bathers.

Nearby lies Rijeka Dubrovačka, a protected landscape featuring the Ombla spring below Golubov kamen, green hillsides, rich vegetation, and historic summer residences of the Dubrovnik nobility from the time of the Republic of Ragusa. The area has been protected since 1964.
Rijeka Dubrovačka is also a deep, bay-like inlet surrounded by steep hills and traditional stone villages. Paths run along both riverbanks; there are also several scenic hiking trails.
The source of the Ombla River at the foot of a hill is considered a karst phenomenon.

Lozica is associated with Crkva Navještenja, a protected cultural asset with the designation Z-980.
Nearby, Trsteno is known for a botanical garden dating back to the 15th century. From Trsteno’s coast, there are views across the sea and the surrounding area.

Libertas route 3A connects Lozica with the Autobusni kolodvor; its route runs via Nuncijata, I. Glavica, and Pile.
Nearby, the Gruž market offers local produce, fish, seafood, and local specialties. Its stalls also sell seasonal fruit, vegetables, and aromatic herbs.
Regular boat services run from Dubrovnik’s Old Town and from Gruž to the Elaphiti Islands, Lokrum, and Cavtat.
The three main Elaphiti Islands nearby – Koločep, Lopud, and Šipan – offer beaches, historic sights, and Mediterranean vegetation.
